Overview
Pulling on tight compression-style socks can be a struggle. These have a zip up the side, so you can open them wide, step in and zip them closed for a snug fit without the tugging.
The toe area is open. Your toes stay free, there's less fabric around them, and it's easy to look at your toes and skin without taking the socks off. The stretchy, breathable fabric gives a close, supportive feel and is designed to apply different levels of pressure from the foot up to the calf.
These are comfort socks, not prescription compression hosiery. Compression isn't right for everyone, so if you have diabetes, a circulation problem or any condition affecting your legs or feet, please check with your GP, practice nurse or podiatrist before wearing them.
- Side zip for easier on and off
- Toe-free design for space and easy skin checks
- Close-fitting, graduated design from foot to calf
- Elastic, breathable nylon and polyester blend
- Black or Beige, in sizes S-M, L-XL and XXL

Size guide
Choose your size by measuring around your ankle and calf, not by your shoe size. A sock that's too small can feel uncomfortably tight, and one that's too big won't give a close fit.
- Measure first thing in the morning, before your legs have had a chance to swell.
- Ankle: measure around the narrowest part, just above the ankle bone.
- Calf: measure around the widest part of your calf.
- Sizes available: S-M, L-XL and XXL (see the chart below).
| Size | Sock length | Ankle circumference | Calf circumference |
|---|---|---|---|
| S-M | 41–42 cm / 16.14–16.54 in | 14–19 cm / 5.51–7.48 in | 25–31 cm / 9.84–12.20 in |
| L-XL | 43–44 cm / 16.93–17.32 in | 18–23 cm / 7.09–9.06 in | 28–33 cm / 11.02–12.99 in |
| XXL | 45–46 cm / 17.72–18.11 in | 20–26 cm / 7.87–10.24 in | 32–36 cm / 12.60–14.17 in |

Care
- Close the zip before washing.
- Machine wash at 30°C.
- Do not bleach and do not dry clean.
- Iron at medium heat only if needed, keeping the iron away from the zip.
- Dry flat, away from direct heat, to help the fabric keep its stretch.
Safety & use
These are compression-style comfort socks, not a medical device or a treatment for any condition. Compression can be unsuitable for some people, so please read this before wearing them.
- If you have diabetes, speak to your GP, diabetes nurse or podiatrist before wearing any compression garment, especially if you have reduced feeling in your feet, foot ulcers, wounds or circulation problems.
- Don't wear them if you have peripheral arterial disease or poor blood flow to your legs unless a health professional has said they're suitable.
- Check with your GP first if you have heart failure, a recent or suspected blood clot, leg ulcers, fragile skin or a skin condition on your legs.
- If you're pregnant, ask your midwife or GP before using compression socks.
- Take them off straight away if you notice pain, numbness, tingling, or toes that turn pale, blue or cold.
- Check your feet and legs every day, including under the zip and around the heel, for redness, marks, blisters or broken skin.
- Don't roll or fold the top down, as this can create a tight band.
- Take them off at night unless a health professional has advised otherwise.
- New, painful or one-sided leg swelling needs medical advice. Contact your GP or NHS 111.

Zip them on instead of tugging
Close-fitting socks can be hard work to get on, especially first thing in the morning or if bending is tricky. The side zip opens the sock right up, so you can slide your foot in and then zip it closed for a snug fit.
Taking them off is just as easy. Unzip, slip your foot out, and you're done.
- Side zipOpens the sock wide for easier dressing.
- Less tuggingNo wrestling a tight sock over your heel.
- Open toeYour toes stay free and visible.

Comfortable from morning to evening
The socks are made from an elastic blend of 84% nylon and 16% polyester. It's stretchy enough to give a close, supportive feel and breathable enough to stay comfortable through the day.
With the toes left open, there's extra airflow at the front of the foot and no seam pressing across the tips of your toes.
- BreathableFabric designed for all-day comfort.
- ElasticStretches to hug your foot, ankle and calf.
- Toe-freeMore air and no fabric over the toes.

A natural, close-fitting shape
The socks are shaped to follow your foot, ankle and calf for a natural fit. They hug your leg gently without bunching, so they sit comfortably under trousers and inside shoes.
Black is easy to wear with everyday trousers and darker shoes, while Beige is more discreet with lighter clothing.
- Natural fitShaped to follow the line of your leg.
- Gentle supportA snug, close-fitting feel.
- Two coloursBlack for everyday, Beige for a discreet look.

Different pressure from foot to calf
These socks use a graduated design, applying different levels of pressure from the foot up to the calf rather than one even squeeze. The result is a snug, layered feel designed for comfort during long days.
The supplier describes the compression as generally mild to moderate (around 10–20 mmHg), but this isn't a certified medical rating, and they are not a treatment for circulation or any other condition. If you've been advised to wear a particular level of compression, please check with your GP or nurse before choosing these.
- Graduated feelPressure varies from foot to calf.
- Long-day comfortA snug, supportive feel for everyday wear.
- Ask firstCheck with a health professional if you need medical compression.
What the open toe gives you
Leaving the toes uncovered makes a practical difference to how the socks feel and how easy they are to live with.
Room for toes
No compression or seams across your toes, so they can move freely.
Airflow
An open front lets air reach your toes on warm days.
Easy skin checks
You can look at your toes without taking the socks off.
Wear with your own socks
Add a thin sock or slipper over the top if you want warm toes.
Putting them on, step by step
Sit down, take your time and keep the fabric smooth.

- 2Step inSlide your foot in so the toes come through the opening and the heel sits in place.
- 3Smooth it upEase the fabric up your leg so there are no wrinkles or folds.
- 4Zip with careClose the zip slowly, holding the fabric away from your skin.
