Overview

A waver is the easiest way to get that relaxed, mermaid-wave look without curling section by section. WaveTrio has three ceramic-coated barrels: clamp a section, hold, release and move down, and the waves line up neatly along the length of your hair.

The tourmaline ceramic coating spreads heat evenly and releases negative ions to help keep frizz down, so waves look smooth and shiny. Choose 180°C for finer hair or 210°C for thicker hair and more defined waves.

  • Triple ceramic barrels in 22mm or 25mm
  • Two heat settings: 180°C and 210°C
  • Heats up in about 60 seconds
  • Anti-scald tip, non-slip handle and metal stand
  • Heating rod rated for 5,000 to 10,000 uses

Smooth, shiny waves with less frizz

The barrels are coated in tourmaline ceramic, which releases negative ions as it heats. These help calm static and frizz, so your waves look smooth and glossy instead of fluffy.

The smooth coating glides over hair, helps it keep its natural moisture and has anti-rust protection for long-lasting use.

  • Tourmaline ceramicReleases negative ions to help smooth hair.
  • Even heatConsistent styling along each barrel.
  • Smooth surfaceHelps keep hair soft and silky.

Advanced build

Designed to be safe to handle

The barrels are made of light, heat-resistant aluminium with a ceramic coating. The tip has an anti-scald design, and the handle is non-slip, so you can steady the waver with both hands.

A metal stand at the front lifts the hot barrels off your dressing table or vanity, so they don't touch the surface between sections.

  • Aluminium barrelsLight and heat-resistant.
  • Anti-scald tipA safer place to hold and guide the waver.
  • Non-slip handleSecure grip while you style.
  • Metal standKeeps hot barrels off your surfaces.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Can the waving iron damage my hair?
Any heated tool can stress hair, so we won't promise it can't. WaveTrio uses a PTC heating element for even heat and tourmaline ceramic that releases negative ions to help reduce frizz. Use 180°C for finer hair, apply a heat protectant and avoid going over the same section repeatedly.
How quickly does it heat up?
It reaches styling temperature in about 60 seconds. That's about the time it takes to brush your hair and clip it into sections.
Can I adjust the temperature?
Yes. There are two settings: 180°C for finer hair or softer waves, and 210°C for thicker hair or more defined waves. Start with the lower setting if you're not sure.
Which barrel size should I choose?
Both sizes give classic waves. 22mm makes slightly smaller, more defined waves, while 25mm makes broader, softer waves for a relaxed, beachy look. Choose your size above the Add to bag button.
How do I avoid burning myself?
Hold the waver by its non-slip handle and anti-scald tip only, and keep the barrels away from your scalp, face and neck. Rest it on its metal stand between sections and practise the movement unplugged the first time.
Will it mark my dressing table?
The front metal stand lifts the hot barrels off the surface, so they don't touch your dressing table or vanity directly. For extra care, rest it on a heat-proof mat.
How long do the waves last?
Even heat across all three barrels helps each wave set in a uniform shape. How long they last depends on your hair type and the products you use, so let the waves cool before touching them and use a light hairspray if your hair drops easily.
Is it hard to use if I'm a beginner?
Not at all. It's easier than a curling wand because you don't need to wrap the hair. Practise the clamp-and-move-down motion while it's unplugged first, then follow the sectioning steps and you'll get the hang of it quickly.
Can I use it on wet hair?
No. Use it on dry hair only. Using a hot waver on wet or damp hair isn't kind to your hair and the waves won't hold as well.
How long will it last?
The heating rod is rated for 5,000 to 10,000 uses. Let it cool before storing, keep the barrels clean of product build-up and don't wrap the cord tightly round the handle to help it last.
